Crossroads Village is a new 8,000 + square foot commercial development. This new retail space lends a network of opportunities for business’ and consumers to grow in such an established and progressive area of Winnipeg.
The city of Selkirk is a growing community, and has an abundance of opportunity for businesses to flourish. We were explicitly honored to be in partnership with the Canadian Tire Corporation once again, to aid in the advancement the city, by expanding the existing Mark’s store and constructing Selkirk’s first Sport Chek.
Despite the elements and the conditions that threatened to delay this project, we concentrated our resources to ensure this project was completed as scheduled.
Construction commenced in June 2015, and both projects were complete and open for business before the busy holiday season in November of 2015.
Partnering with Mark’s and the Canadian Tire Corporation, we renovated their new impressive, expanded space in the West Edmonton Mall. While collaborating with Mark’s wasn’t a new concept for us, this was WinnPro’s first project at this site.
The construction of this space improvement commenced in May 2015. Keeping true to the companies design and working with them to build according to their standards and guidelines, helped us complete this project on schedule
Kit and Ace is a newly created luxury apparel brand with ambitious plans to open 50 shops worldwide in their first year of doing business.
When they decided to enter the Winnipeg market they specifically requested WinnPro to be their general Contractor. We were very grateful for the opportunity.
In just a short 2 weeks, their goal was to transform a 1899 Winnipeg heritage building into an ultra modern fashion shop while maintaining the historic charm of the aged building.
Business expansion is an exciting time for any business owner, and we enjoy being a part of their journey. When Michaels Arts & Crafts wanted to grow from 2 locations in Winnipeg to 3, we were enthusiastic to be chosen as their general contractor for this project at Crossroads Shopping Center on Regent.
For the new tenants taking over the existing space, we were entrusted with the interior and exterior alterations. This includes new interior partitions and retail display shelves, construction of new washrooms, and mechanical work that included new roof top units. These RTU’s also required stronger structural work to include new supports. Electrical work included replacing fixtures. Rounding out the job is cosmetic work to ready the space for Michaels to move in their product.
This project is scheduled to be completed in May 2015.
